Keep A 'Note'

Hello friends this is Gary and today i tells you what you need to keep
in mind when outdoors with your notebook PC.

Carrying a notebook PC is not always as simple as it seems
especially while traveling long distance.

Here i suggest some points to keep in mind while traveling with it.

First and very important,

BATTERY: Always remember to charge your battery before leaving.
There are chances you won't be near plug point.
Investing in a higher capacity battery may be expensive
but is always good.

CARY CASE: Use good carry case, or one that is approved by the manufacturer.
In case your notebook does fall, it prevent from serious damage.

SPARE CABLES: If you think you will need a particular
type of cable its always better to carry it with you.

TIPS TO SAVE NOTEBOOK FOOD: Your notebook has a finite store of power
and this could range anywhere from 1 to 8hours depending on the size of the laptop.
Power saving mode can increase battery hours.
One of the biggest power hogger is screen display and reducing the the brightness of the screen significantly decreases battery consumption.
Disconnecting peripherals such as an external mouse orhard disk is good idea to save more.
Also when not required remember to switch off WLAN switch.
Also don't connect your mobile to your notebook.

LOCKS: Any thief's eye on your notebook. you can keep your laptop safe by using
USB Locks or chains built specifically for your laptop.
Other devices like finger print scanners are also as helpful.

NETWORK SECURITY: While at a coffee shop or hotel lobby and using a wireless internet
connection do remember to enable a firewall to prevent anyone from
accessing data from your laptop.
Chances of someone sending your notebook a virus over the wireless
network is high.
