Zapak Digital Entertainment has announced the launch of the first Zapak Gameplex in Mumbai at I-Max Wadala, after the roll-out in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Indore, Pune, Jaipur and New Delhi.

This 35-seater gaming zone, like the other Zapak Gameplexes, will international gaming titles, ambience and gaming PCs.
This gaming experience will be re-created at Zapak Live at the Times Gizmos & Mobiles Show at the World Trade Center, Mumbai between 21st to 23rd December from 10am to 7 pm. Zapak Live is being presented by HP Pavilion Notebooks and the Zapak Gameplex Tournament by Intel.

When your PC get slow then what you do???

If your windows XP is not performing well or getting slow......
Clean the prefetch directory its really work and your pc again performing well

Simply follow this steps..........
  • Windows XP keeps shortcut to recently launched programme in the C:\WINDOWS\pchealth directory, which can take up some space.
  • However, some really old programme which you may not ever be using anymore can still found in prefetch directory.
  • Also you may experience system slow down when booting or launching progrmmes.
  • After this stuff the pc will take more time to boot 2 to 3 times. Because it arrenge currunt files and programme.

IBM

The first computer with magnetic disk storage
September 4 1956

IBM introduced the first commercial that used magnatic disk storage on september 4 1956.
The IBM RAMAC 305, which was one of the last vaccum tube system designed, stood for Random Access Method, of Accounting and control.
The RAMAC 305, was a complete compact data processing system built around a disk memory unit which consisted of 50 magnetic metal disks. It was designed to provide continuous, accounting for all types of business.
Data used to be recorded on or read from each side of the disk in random order by a rapidly - moving access arm.
The disk units were avaible with stoarage available with stoarage capacities of 5 million digits and 10 million digits.
The 305 RAMAC was an electronic general purpose data processing machine that maintained business record on a real - time basis.
More than 1,000 of them were built before production ened in 1961.
The RAMMac also had arithmetical and logical ability. Additional features included punched paper tape input, remote printing stations, dual disk files, dual access arms, dual system control, and faster, flexible printing.
